Il corso Learning Through Drama, CLIL e Music è il corso organizzato da Educo nella magica cornice di Sanremo.
I nostri teachers trainer Kuba, Charlie, Rachel, Amelia, & Jemma in un contesto di sole, mare e relax, porteranno le nostre amate docenti a riscoprire e rinnovare l’entusiasmo per l’insegnamento.
Usando il coinvolgimento emotivo attraverso il divertimento e metodi di insegnamento visuali e tattili, sia gli studenti che gli insegnanti tramite il corso Learning Through Drama, CLIL e Music possono raccogliere i benefici di un envirolement dedicato all’apprendimento motivazionale (motivational learning).
Seguendo l’approccio olistico di Educo gli insegnanti riescono ad accrescere ed intensificare la comunicazione in classe, rendendo più rilevante l’apprendimento dei contenuti (content learning).
Obiettivi del Corso Learning Through Drama, CLIL e Music:
- Drama: Il docente trasforma la lezione frontale in un evento coinvolgente, capace di infondere negli studenti la motivazione ad apprendere. Le emozioni fanno da motore, le tecniche teatrali sono il veicolo. I docenti partecipanti impareranno nuove tecniche di insegnamento, improntate sull’approccio Theatre in Education (T.I.E.) e sulle più recenti e accreditate teorie psicolinguistiche e glottodidattiche, sfruttando copioni, canzoni e attività teatrali basate sul linguaggio. Le pratiche e gli sviluppi educativi sono senza dubbio dei “lavori in corso”, quindi perdete le vostre inibizioni… divertitevi!
- Clil: il docente scoprirà come integrare le abilità fisiche, mentali, emotive, sociali e globali nel processo di educazione degli studenti.
- Music: scopriremo insieme come la musica stimola differenti aree del cervello sotto forma di molteplici stimoli. Ad es. ascoltare musica mentre si studia è stato dimostrato che aiuta a ridurre lo stress e a migliorare la memoria (Modell, DeMerio and Rose 2008, John Hopkins University). Quando adattiamo le canzoni a strumento didattico, esse incrementano la motivazione degli studenti e sostanzialmente anche il loro vocabolario. (Dzanic and Pejic 2016). So Learning English Through song!
Il corso è aperto a Dirigenti Scolastici e docenti di ogni ordine e grado.
Il corso ammonta ad un totale di 25 ore.

Jakuba Madej – Educo Theatrino Tutor and Teacher Trainer
Kuba was born in Poland before completing school in Toronto and New York. After receiving his degree in economics from McGill University in Montreal, Kuba moved to Italy where he has been part of the Educo staff since 2012. Now project manager of Educo’s summer camp project, Kuba creates the materials and tours Italy training teachers on Educo’s innovative teaching methods
Charlotte Ellen Ord-Teacher Trainer/Relatore
Charlie has been an expert tutor for Educo since 2014. She has a degree in Drama and has been touring Italy as a Theatrino Teacher for years.
She is part of the Educo Didactic team and an actively writing new material for Educo camps and student workshops. Charlie is part of the team responsible for the training of our Educo Camp Tutors and has been working as a Teacher Trainer since 3 years ago.
Goymer Amelia – Production Team Teatrino
Amelia started collaborating with Educo in 2018 as an actor in our Teatrino. Over time, she has become an expert creator of teaching materials and costumes for educational workshops.
McMillan Rachel – Production Team Teatrino
Rachel started in 2017 as a recruiter of new actors and then stood out in the creation of video materials for in-depth study as an aid in teaching English
Forsyth Jemma – Casting/ Recruitment Officer Teatrino
Jemma has been collaborating with Educo since 2014 in the role of recruiter for Teatrino project. Her passion for singing and musicals led her to create first-rate teaching materials during the lockdown
