La forma passiva delle frasi di usa per indicare cosa succede al soggetto della frase. Vediamo come si costruisce e le varie regole.

Forma Passiva in inglese – Le regole
Nella forma attiva in pratica diciamo cosa fa il soggetto. Quindi è il soggetto che compie l’azione. Nella passiva invece, il soggetto subisce l’azione. In questo caso chi o cosa crea l’azione poco conta:
Esempio: “Love can not BE CURED by herbs.”
La passiva pertanto segue determinate regole fisse tra tutte il verbo deve essere transitivo, ciò significa che il verbo è seguito da un complemento oggetto.
Se il verbo è intransitivo non è possibile creare la forma passiva.
In generale si costruisce con il verbo to be + il past participle del verbo principale. Di seguito un esempio della struttura al present simple del verbo ask

Schema con gli altri tempi verbali
present continuous they are building a new cinema –> a new cinema is being built
past Dante wrote the Divina Commedia –> the Divina Commedia was written by Shakespeare
past continuous they were calling a new contact –> a new contact was being call
present perfect she has decorated a new house –> her new house has been decorated
will she will write a novel –>a novel will be written
would she would write a new novel –>a new novel would be written
infinitive somebody will clean the house –>the house will be cleaned later
perfect infinitive somebody should have cleaned the house –>the house should have been cleaned
past perfect the house looked nice.somebody had cleaned it –>the house looked nice.it had been cleaned
to be going to Bob is going to play the guitar –> the guitar is going to be played by Bob
have something done Sarah repaired the roof (lo ripara lei) Sarah had the roof repaired
(organizza affinche’ qualcun altro faccia il lavoro)
in inglese informale possiamo usare get something done oltre che have something done
get something done Sarah repaired the door –>Sarah got the door repaired
